01 Who We Are

MorningStar Labs is the operating identity of The MorningStar Ventures LLC — a technical consulting and product development firm working with established companies and serious founders who need strategy, engineering, and product thinking from one place.

The firm is led by Ricardo Martinez, a hands-on technical operator with a background spanning machine learning and computer vision (ZEISS, Image Sensing Systems), blockchain infrastructure, and B2B platform development across the U.S., South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

The primary mode of engagement today is consulting-led — embedding as a senior technical partner with client teams to clarify scope, accelerate delivery, and build the right thing. This runs alongside a portfolio of actively developed products across PropTech, EdTech, and Web3.

We don't operate like a vendor. We work like a co-founder who can also write the code.
